Consular services


Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan is part of the central office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Functional responsibilities of Consular Department of the MFA RT are:

- Registration, issuance, renewal, replacement and revocation of visas of the Republic of Tajikistan to foreign citizens and stateless persons ;

- Registration, issuance, renewal, replacement and revocation of passports citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Consideration of petitions and complaints of citizens Solicitation Documents ;

- Information and advisory services;

- Citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Execution of the invitation (confirmation of invitation)to foreign citizens and stateless persons;

- Formulation of evidence to return to the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Implementation of consular legalization of documents and acts;

-Implementation, where necessary, the registration of foreign passports, arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan government and public figures of foreign countries and members of their families, whensorequestedbytheirhost international organizations, diplomatic missions or consular offices;

- Stamping with the "official trip to China" for the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- Stamping for the trip to the border area of Gorno -Badakhshan Avtanomnoy Areas in international passports of members of diplomatic missions, consular posts and international organizations;

Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan provides consular services to diplomatic missions and international organizations, individuals and legal entities of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as foreign nationals.

Documents relating to consular matters are accepted and are registered directly in the building of the Consular Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, at 34 Pushkin Street, weekdays from 8:30 to 11:00.
