Today, a telephone conversation took place between the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, the heads of state, in continuation of their regular dialogue, discussed certain topical issues of bilateral relations of strategic partnership.
The parties focused on the development of the situation in Central Asia in the context of the situation in the border regions of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Other aspects of ensuring regional security were also considered, including the Afghan problem.
The Presidents discussed the schedule and agenda of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
