Meeting with the Assistant High Commissioner for Protection (UNHCR)

Оn November 8, 2024, in Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the Central Asian Ministerial Conference titled “Ending statelessness in Central Asia,” a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr.Ismatullo Nasredin and Ms.Ruvendrini Menikdiwela, Assistant High Commissioner for Protection (UNHCR).

During the meeting main attention was paid to refugee issues, ensuring their rights and living conditions. Mr.Ismatullo Nasredin informed the interlocutors about the measures taken by the country’s Government related to the protection of the rights of refugees.
