The President of Turkmenistan visited the Tajik dastarkhan in Ashgabat

March 22, 2025 in the city of Ashgabat, as part of the celebration of International Navruz Day, the event “Cuisines of the countries of the world” was held.

To the President of Turkmenistan, respected Serdar Berdimuhamedov was presented Dastarkhan, prepared by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The national cuisine of the Tajik people, samples of national clothing and semiprecious stones, dishes decorated with national ornaments, as well as some cultural traditions and customs was represented to the head of Turkmenistan.

In the second part of the event, compatriots, as well as numerous guests, representatives of the local diplomatic corps and officials, had the opportunity to try the Tajik pilaf and other dishes of the national cuisine of the Tajik people.
