Citizens of Iran are exempt from mandatory registration

Based on parity principle by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 29, 2025, No. 324, the third paragraph was added to the Section 24 of the Government Decision of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Rules of Entry, Stay, Exit, and Transit through the Territory of the Republic of Tajikistan by Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons" (No. 207, dated March 31, 2020) as the following:
"The Islamic Republic of Iran – for a period of 30 days."

In accordance with this amendment, citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran are exempt from the mandatory registration of their passports with the relevant authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan for a period of up to 30 days from the date of their entry into the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
