Meeting with the Head of State Library of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan

On the second of October, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Vafo Niyatbekzoda met with the Head of State Library of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan Lachin Nurmuhammedova.

During the meeting, the sides discussed state and prospects of further development of Tajik-Turkmen relations at cultural-humanitarian field, especially in the directions of library activity, typography and publishing books, and expressed their views on the ways and opportunities for even more activation of mutual exchange in this sphere.

At the end of the conversation, on behalf of the Embassy, a number of books about Tajikistan and the role of the Founder of peace and national unity – Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon in the establishment and strengthening of the modern statehood of Tajik people, were presented to the Turkmen State Library.
