Meeting with the Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan

On the 20th of November, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Vafo Niyatbekzoda met with the Chairman of Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan Mr. Rahimberdi Jepbarov.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of Tajik-Turkmen relations in financial, banking and investment spheres, and exchanged views on the directions and opportunities to enhance of mutually beneficial cooperation between the relevant structures of the two countries.

In this regard, the establishment of direct permanent working contacts among banking institution and financial organizations of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan noted as appropriate for the further growth and development of bilateral partnerships in this area.
