The order of discovery of documents

The applications and other request statements for demanding of the documents are carried out according to the Vienna Convention on the consular relations (1961), Minsk (1993, in edition of the Protocol from March 28, 1997) and Kishinev; (7.10.2002) Conventions on legal assistance and legal relations on civil, family and criminal cases, and also legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Requests on demanding of documents submitted to the Consular Offices of the Diplomatic Representations, Consulates of the
Republic of Tajikistan abroad and Consular Department of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan will be addressed to the State Archival Department, archives of regions, and also to appropriate archives of the Ministries of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Replies and materials concerning request of documents from the specified offices will be addressed to the Diplomatic Representations and Consulates of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad for further forwarding to applicants.

The following documents cannot be requested:

- Military cards;
- Work-record cards;
- Driving license;
- Characteristics;
- Personal records from the offices of the Republic of Tajikistan.
 

The information concerning the absence of offences (previous conviction) and confirmation of presence (absence) of citizenship of
the Republic of Tajikistan will be issued upon request of competent departments of the Republic of Tajikistan.
