Expansion of cooperation with the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU)

During the meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomudin Sattorov with the Director of the International Cooperation Department of the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) Thomas Tennhardt further cooperation in environmental, flora and fauna protection, and climate change mitigation was discussed.

The parties also had a constructive discussion on the international water agenda and Tajikistan's international initiatives on water issues and glaciers protection, including the International Decade of Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028," the declaration of the 2025 year the " The International Year for the Preservation of Glaciers", the establishment of the " World Glacier Day" and " International Fund for Glaciers".

In this regard, it was agreed to hold joint events in Berlin to present Tajikistan's international initiatives.
