On November 10, 2022, the film “Brother” featured by the famous Tajik director Bakhtiyor Khudoynazarov will be shown at the Cottbus Film Festival for a wide range of film lovers.
“Brother”, made by the film studio “Tokifilm” in 1991reflects the story of two brothers - Farrukh and Azamat, who go by train to look for their father. Their father left the family many years ago. The brothers travel by train through hills and mountains, towns and villages, and finally, meet their father.
The film was recently remade by German director Veit Helmer and screened at the 79th Venice International Film Festival (August 31 - September 10, 2022).
Film Festival Cottbus (FFC) was founded in 1991 as an international film festival in Eastern Europe. This year the Cottbus Festival will take place from 8 to 13 November 2022.
