Presentation of Tajikistan at the MIT event in Northern Thuringia

On November 25, 2022, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomudin Sattorov, at the invitation of the member of the German Bundestag (CDU / CSU), Deputy Chairman of the German-Central Asian Parliamentary Group Manfred Grund, and the Federal Chairwoman of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, member of Bundestag Ms. Gitta Connemann, took part in the 30th traditional event of the Association of Small and Medium – Sized Businesses (MIT), which took place in Eichsfeld, Northern Thuringia.

This event was attended by politicians, deputies, economic and business circles, businessmen, leadership, members of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (MIT), representatives of German companies, and journalists.

Speaking to the audience, the Ambassador of Tajikistan provided detailed information on the political and economic situation in the country, measures taken by the Government of Tajikistan to improve the investment and business climate, and priority areas, including energy, industry, minerals, and agriculture.

Given the existing economic and investment potential of the country, Imomudin Sattorov emphasized the necessity of establishing cooperation with various areas of Northern Thuringia.

Special attention was paid to the development of mutually beneficial relations between Tajikistan and Germany, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.

Further, a film about the tourism potential and rich culture of the Tajik people was shown to the participants.
