Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries and Germany

On 1 December 2022 on the sidelines of the 29th session of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Łódź, there was held a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the countries of Central Asia and Germany.

At the event, participants discussed a wide range of issues of shared interest, including the development of overall relations between the Europe and Central Asia, cooperation on water and climate, economic and educational fields, as well as combating common threats and challenges.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin during his speech mentioned about the impact of climate change on access to water resources and the importance of the next initiative of the Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon to declare 2025 the International Year of Glacier Preservation.
