On March 11, 2023 on the eve of the international holiday Navruz and in connection with declaring 2022-2026 - the Years of Industrial Development, at the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan to Germany, a collection of clothes in the national style of the Tajik designer Nafisa Imronova was shown at the «Fashionshow Ottostadt macht Mode» exhibition in the city of Magderburg.
The cultural event was attended by the mayor of Magdeburg, Mrs. Simone Borris, representatives of the government of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt (Sachsen-Anhalt), members of parliament, politicians, economic circles, journalists and fashion amateurs.
Tajik Ambassador to Germany Imomoudin Sattorov assessed Tajikistan's participation in the Magdeburg fashion exhibition as a factor in the development of cultural diplomacy, high national culture and art, folk crafts, the development of the spinning and weaving industry and fashion in the country.
Imomoudin Sattorov talked about the history of the Tajik atlas, adras and chakan and stressed that the art of Tajik embroidery "Chakan" was included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2018. It is worth noting that the founder of the Fashion Week in Tajikistan, Tokhir Zokhirzod, together with his German colleagues, presented a collection of national clothes on fashion show, which was enthusiastically received by the audience.
