On May 22, 2023, in Berlin, at the initiative of the Federal Association of the German Tourism Industry (BTW), the “24th Tourism Summit” was held, in which the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomudin Sattorov took part.
The event was opened by the Director General of the Federal Association of the German Tourism Industry (BTW) Sven Liebert and the President of this Association Sören Hartmann.
The Federal Vice-Chancellor, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection of Germany Robert Habeck spoke on the topic "Political requirements for a strong and sustainable tourism industry in the future", Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Hubertus Heil on the topic "Hospitality, mobility and desire to travel" as well as the Federal Minister for Digital Technology and Transport Volker Wissing spoke about "Digitalization, Mobility and Tourism infrastructure of the future".
At the conference, about 350 participants discussed the question "Is there a turning point in the tourism sector?", where sustainability, digitalization and a shortage of specialists were the main topics.
Within the framework of this event, Imomudin Sattorov talked with the President of the German Tourism Association (DRV) Norbert Fiebig.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the organization of a study tour for representatives of the German tourism sector, companies and a group of journalists to Tajikistan.
