Participation in the Industry Day

On June 19-20, 2023 in Berlin Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomuddin Sattorov took part in the traditional event "Industry Day" which was held at the initiative of the Federation of German Industries (BDI).

Industry Day is an annual conference during which the results and prospects for the development of the country's industry for the coming periods are determined.

During two days politicians, members of parliament, heads of economic and financial institutions of Germany, the private sector, high-level foreign delegations and heads of diplomatic missions in Berlin exchanged views.

 Siegfried Rüsswürn, President of the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI), Olaf Scholz, Federal Chancellor of Germany, Christian Lindner, Federal Minister of Finance, Bettina Stark-Watsinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research, and Roberta Habeck, Federal Minister of Economics and Climate Protection, Vice-Chancellor Roberta Habeka delivered a speech on further development of various sectors of the economy and industry, new investment opportunities, the formation of new horizons for cooperation, the adoption of necessary measures to prevent crises, etc.

On the sidelines of the event, Imomuddin Sattorov held meetings with politicians, heads of industrial companies and investors in order to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan.
