On 20 February 2024, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, paid a working visit to the Federal State of Brandenburg.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan was received by Ursula Nonnemacher, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Social Affairs, Health, Integration and Consumer Protection of Brandenburg.
During the meeting, the sides expressed their desire to activate and strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields.
To strengthen and develop inter-parliamentary relations, the Ambassador also met with the Vice-President of the Brandenburg Landtag, Barbara Richstein.
At the meeting with the Managing Director of the Economic Development Agency Brandenburg (WFBB) Sebastian Saule, the parties exchanged views on the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of investment, business and trade, industry, renewable energy and the organization of joint activities.
During a visit to the Albert Einstein Science Park, the head of the diplomatic mission met with the Executive Director of the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam, Professor Susanne Buiter, to discuss joint scientific and research cooperation, the exchange of experience between Tajik and German scientists, and the implementation of the Green Central Asia initiative and international initiatives of Tajikistan to address water and climate problems.
