On March 12, 2024 in the city of Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, the "Dialogue of Ambassadors of Central Asia and the Caspian Region" was held in which the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany Imomudin Sattorov took part.
Ambassadors of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, heads of major German companies, chambers of commerce and industry, as well as a large circle of entrepreneurs and investors took part in the event both in person and virtually.
The main topics of the forum were the strengthening of relations between Europe and the countries of Central Asia and the Caspian region, including the expansion of cooperation in the development of international transport and logistics corridors to ensure the turnover of goods and services, the wide use of renewable energy and natural resources.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan drew the attention of the audience to the economic potential of the country, mineral resources, as well as sources of renewable energy - water, solar and wind, and invited the heads of German companies and investors to actively participate in the implementation of projects in these spheres.
At the same time, Imomudin Sattorov, while presenting the rich potential of renewable energy sources, referring to the speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, leader of the nation Honourable Emomali Rahmon, in his annual address to the Majlisi Oli, stressed to the German circles that "Tajikistan should become a “green country” by 2037”.
Within the framework of the event, the Ambassador met with Daniela Schmitt, Minister of Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of Rhineland-Palatinate, and heads of various companies to establish mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the B2B meeting, entrepreneurs and heads of German companies received concrete answers to their questions about investment, industrial, agricultural, logistics and tourism opportunities in Tajikistan.
