Celebration of the International Holiday of Navruz in Berlin

On 16 March 2024, in the city of Berlin, the diplomatic missions of the countries traditionally celebrating Navruz, in cooperation with the Union of Friends of the Ethnological Museum and the Organization of International Cultural Cooperation, celebrated the International Holiday of Navruz.
Officials of the host country, representatives of the diplomatic corps, citizens of the Navruz countries and compatriots living in Germany took part in the celebration.
On the occasion of this ancestral holiday, the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany organised a national exhibition of images representing culture, history and national landmarks, which became the centre of attention of numerous guests.
Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany Imomudin Sattorov in his speech congratulated the audience on the occasion of Navruz and from the “Collection  of quotations of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of  Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon on Navruz” informed the audience about the history of its origin, scientific and literary sources, values and peculiarities of its celebration in our country.
In addition, a documentary film about the tourism potential, customs and traditions of the Navruz in Tajikistan was shown.
