On March 22, 2024, on the initiative of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce (HK Hamburg) a roundtable discussion was held on the topic "Healthcare Specialists: Focus on Central Asia" with the participation of the ambassadors of Central Asian countries, including Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Mirko Novak, Head of the Eastern Europe Working Group of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, as well as managers and representatives of various German companies focusing on the recruitment of specialists from abroad, attended and spoke at the event.
The participants exchanged views on the creation of mechanisms for attracting young specialists with the knowledge of the German language for the purpose of further work in healthcare institutions, including elderly care facilities, and strengthening the study of the German language.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, emphasised on the young population of Tajikistan - more than 70% of the country's population makes up young people under the age of 35 - and expressed enthusiasm for establishing active cooperation in this area.
On the same day, another meeting was held at the Renewable Energy Hamburg Clusteragentur GmbH.
The executive director of this agency, Jan Rispens, informed the audience about its activities and the development of renewable energy sources in Hamburg, including wind, solar, green hydrogen and the method of their effective use in vital fields.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan, while presenting the country’s rich potential of renewable energy sources, invited German companies and investors to participate in the implementation of projects in this sector.
