Tourism as an important development factor

On 14 May, the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, met with the President of the German Tourism Association (DRV), Norbert Fiebig, to discuss the expansion of mutual cooperation in tourism and the organisation of study tour to Tajikistan for the German delegation, including representatives of the tourism sector, companies and groups of journalists.

It should be noted that the DRV, as the leading German tourism association, covers all tourism organisations, which account for about 90 per cent of the total income of the tourism market of the country of residence. The association brings together leading tour operators, airlines, railway companies, hotels and other tourism enterprises.
