The celebration of the Mehrgon in Hamburg

On 28 September 2024, in the city of Hamburg, in cooperation with the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Tajikistan in the federal states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein and Persian-speaking associations of this city, the celebration of Mehrgon - an ancient holiday of Persian-speaking peoples took place.

During the event, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany Imomudin Sattorov spoke about the ancient holiday of Mehrgon in Tajikistan and the role of this celebration of the Tajiks as an important factor in strengthening national identity, as well as elaborated on the achievements of the country in the period of state independence.
