"Future Now - Central Asia" concert in Berlin featuring young musicians from Central Asia

On the initiative and with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany and in cooperation with the embassies of Central Asian countries in Germany, the concert "The Future Now - Central Asia" took place on 12 November 2024 in Berlin.

Students of the Tajik National Conservatory Toshiev Idibek (Rubob), Khasanov Jovidon (Ghijak) and Zokhidova Guljamol (Qonun) and other young musicians from Central Asia and Germany performed on the prestigious stage of the Berlin Philharmonic.

The thematic concept of the concert "Future Now - Central Asia" under the creative direction of Prof. Mathias Hinke encompassed 5 natural elements - wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The Tajik musicians presented their composition inspired by the element of water, drawing deeply from the national musical traditions and heritage of Tajikistan.
