Enhancing cooperation with the German Foundation named after Hans-Seidel

With the aim to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation with funds and international organizations, on November 12 of this year, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany met with the regional director of Hans-Seidel Foundation for Central Asia Dr.  Maks Georg Maier.

Starting from 2009 the present Foundation cooperates with Tajikistan in increasing functional efficiency of the state authorities and improving professional skills of public servants.

To date, with the assistance of Hans-Seidel Foundation more than 100 public servants of Tajikistan benefited from courses on improvement of professional skills held in Institute for public administration of Tajikistan and acquired diplomas on “Management in public administration”.

The parties have noted the necessity to promote better involvement of female public servants engaged in local public administration in training courses on improvement of professional skills. Moreover, the parties have expressed their interest in introducing new methods of education, such as distant training and e-training, as well as in utilization of intellectual potential of the country for providing opportunity for public servants of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, engaged in border services, to participate in training courses on improvement of professional skills.
