Meeting with compatriots in Germany

With the aim to present achievements of the Government of the country in the current year and in view of declaring the year 2018 as “the Year of tourism and folk crafts” the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany organized and hold a meeting with representatives of Tajik diaspora, members of Tajik-German friendship community, students and representatives of scientific and cultural community, as well as friends of Tajikistan.

The event was commenced with the opening speech of the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Germany Sohibnazar Gayratsho, which was dedicated to the topic “Wellbeing of native Tajikistan – hope of all compatriots”.  In his speech Ambassador emphasized that thanks to continuing efforts of the Government, under the leadership of the Leader of Nation H.E. Emomali Rahmon, Tajikistan achieved significant results in all important spheres of life, and that Tajikistan is still developing for the sake of wellbeing of its people.  

Then in a festive atmosphere, for significant contribution to the Tajik musical art, Ambassador of Tajikistan congratulated well known Tajik compositor Firuz Bahor on the occasion of his 76th birthday.   

When delivering a speech, the Chairman of the Tajik-German friendship community Dr. Alexander Heiser expressed his delight over achievements of native Tajikistan and noted that national unity of the Tajik people was achieved by enormous efforts, and that every Tajikistan individual has to treasure this heritage and make every effort to preserve it.  

At the event also, the exchange of views with Tajik students took place. Ambassador encouraged students to study modern technology and to make contribution to the development of their Homeland.
