The quality of Tajikistan's medical facilities on the agenda of the government meeting

On 30 March 2020, the meeting of the Government of Tajikistan took place under the chairmanship of the President and the Head of Government of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

President Emomali Rahmon instructed the heads of ministries and authorities to use the mass media to educate the population about healthy lifestyles and personal hygiene.

Concrete measures are to be taken, among other things, in the training of medical staff and health facilities are to be checked to see whether they are prepared to accept sick patients. In addition, the import of modern medical equipment and devices will be accelerated, and sanitary and hygienic control of service centers will be improved.

Emomali Rahmon commissioned the responsible authorities to speed up the construction work in the health facilities in Dushanbe, districts, including the construction of a hospital with almost 300 beds in the Danghara district, the establishment of health centers and modern medical points in all communities and villages.
