Special application for tracking the chain of infections with the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus

The problem of preventing further growth in the number of infections with the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus is one of the priorities on the agenda.

In order to track down the chain of infections, the German Federal Government intends to launch a new special electronic application soon. According to the statement of the Minister of Health, Jens Span, the Corona Warning application will be officially presented next week and its usage will be voluntary for everyone.

It is expected that this application will be available for all electronic devices and will help identify the source of the spread of the virus. Also, using this application it will be possible to identify people, who contacted the infected person.
