Today, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sohibnazar Gayratsho, and the regional coordinator of the Federal Association of Medium-sized Enterprises of Germany Reinhold von Ungern-Sternberg.
During the conversation, important points of the Program for Accelerated Industrialization of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2020-2025, as well as prospects for cooperation of Tajikistan with small and medium-sized commercial enterprises in Germany in the post-caronavirus period were discussed.
Sohibnazar Gayratsho appreciated the importance of adopting this program to strengthen the country's industrial and export potential, improve the well-being of the population, and called it a serious tool for the speedy stabilization of the country's economy after the coronavirus crisis. Among other things, the attraction of innovative technologies, the production of competitive products and the strengthening of the country's export potential are among the most important goals of industrialization, and the development of the metallurgical, mining, light and food industries, food processing and pharmaceuticals, carpet production, silk growing and tourism represent for small and medium-sized businesses Europe has a great chance.
The German Federal Medium-sized Enterprise Association (BVMW) includes more than 900,000 German small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and represents their interests both domestically and abroad. For this purpose, she opened her representative offices in 40 countries.
In this regard, the parties exchanged views on the possibility of opening an Association representative office in Dushanbe. The ambassador handed over to Mr. Ungern-Sternberg a package of investment projects for transmission to interested parties.
