On June 24, 2020, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Germany, Sohibnazar Gayratsho, visited the Federal State of Bavaria. During a meeting with the Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Energy of the region Markus Wittmann, an exchange of views took place on strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal State of Bavaria.
During the conversation, the Ambassador presented the Accelerated Industrialization Program of the country and called on the economic and investment circles of Bavaria to take advantage of the existing potential of Tajikistan.
The parties also exchanged views on renewable energy sources, holding economic forums and recognition of graduation documents. As the situation stabilizes, Bavaria plans to invite entrepreneurs for processing agricultural products from Tajikistan to Munich.
On the same day, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan visited the Alpine Museum in Munich and held a working meeting with the Head of the German Alpinen Association Friederike Kaiser. This museum contains important documents and discoveries made by German climbers, which are of particular importance for studying the history and development of tourism in our country.
