Information on extending the Schengen visa

From October 1, 2020, holders of Schengen visas who were unable to return to Tajikistan in time due to the coronavirus pandemic and the travel restrictions introduced by Schengen countries - until the opportunity to return to their home country - in order to extend their legal stay must contact the competent authorities at the place of stay.

The statutory ordinance of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior of June 17, 2020, according to which Schengen visa holders could remain without an extension until September 30, 2020, is hereby not extended.
