111111.jpg On December 9-10, 2020, intergovernmental negotiations between Tajikistan and Germany on partnership for development were held in the online conference format. The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan was headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali and the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany was headed by the Commissioner for Asian Countries in the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Gisela Hammerschmidt. During the two-day meeting with the participation of high-ranking representatives of the ministries and departments of the two countries, a constructive exchange of views took place on the level of implementation of this mechanism of bilateral relations. According to the signed Protocol, the German government will provide Tajikistan with a grant of 19.25 million euros for the implementation of projects in the field of healthcare, construction of modern clinics, equipping existing hospitals, as well as protecting the health of mothers and children, and strengthening production chains and export potential.
