Meeting with the members of European Parliament

On October 14, 2019 the Ambassador Rahmatullozoda has met with MEPs elected to European Parliament, the European Parliament's delegation to concentrate on Central Asia.

The meeting was opened by the head of the delegation, MEP from Italy Fulvio Martusciello, later the Ambassador of Tajikistan addressed the audience and provided detailed information on political events in the country and its socio-economic situation. During a warm and frank conversation, the economic climate of Tajikistan, which created favorable conditions for investors, was discussed in detail.

Another area of ​​dialogue was the current threats and challenges in the region, many of which are global in nature and need to be addressed in a spirit of cooperation and partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the agenda of the upcoming visit of the MEPs to Tajikistan was discussed. The parties expressed with confidence that this would serve to strengthen multifaceted and effective relations between Tajikistan and the European Union.
