Bilateral relations

The Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates is one of the important mechanisms for strengthening economic, trade, scientific and cultural ties. Four meetings of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission were held between the two friendly countries:

- First meeting of the Commission on May 11-12, 2014 in Abu Dhabi;

- Second meeting of the Commission on April 20-23, 2016 in Dushanbe;

- Third meeting of the Commission on December 9-15, 2017 in Abu Dhabi.

- Fourth meeting of the Commission on July 29, 2021 in a virtual format.

At the end of these meetings, the corresponding protocols were signed.
