Tajikistan-Pakistan Joint Commissionon

On 1 June 1992 the Protocol between the Government of Tajikistan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on establishment of the Tajikistan-Pakistan Joint Commission was signed in Islamabad. Joint Commission which is one of the key mechanisms for the development of bilateral economic cooperation, already conducted six meetings:

• the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission took place on May 2004 in Islamabad;
• the second meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission took place on October 2006 in Dushanbe;
• the third meeting of Intergovernmental Commission took place on June 21, 2009 in Islamabad;
• the fourth meeting of Intergovernmental Commission took place on February 28, 2011 in Dushanbe;
• the fifth meeting of Intergovernmental Commission took place on June 15-16, 2016 in Islamabad.
• the sixth meeting of Intergovernmental Commission took place on July 1, 2019 in Dushanbe.
