Telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Current issues of the bilateral agenda, as well as international and regional issues, were discussed.

The Presidents expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation.

The Heads of State congratulated each other on the upcoming holidays of Navruz and Eid al-Fitr.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulated the Leader of the Nation on the signing of the Treaty on the State Border between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the conversation, the parties also exchanged views on the schedule of further bilateral and multilateral meetings.

In particular, they exchanged views on the trilateral meeting of the Presidents of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which is scheduled to be held at the end of this month in the city of Khujand.
