Participation of the Ambassador of Tajikistan in the “PIMEC 2025” Conference

From 3 to 4 November 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Yusuf Sharifzoda, participated in the Pakistan International Maritime Exhibition and Conference (PIMEC 2025) held in Karachi. The event was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Pakistan Navy.

The exhibition and conference brought together representatives of government institutions, diplomatic missions, international organizations, and the private sector to exchange views on enhancing cooperation in maritime connectivity, trade, logistics, and the sustainable development of the blue economy.

On the sidelines of the event, Ambassador held meetings with the officials responsible for the maritime sector. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of maritime transport, logistics, port management, and regional connectivity between Tajikistan and Pakistan.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding mutually beneficial ties and exploring new avenues of collaboration within bilateral, regional, and multilateral frameworks.
