Meeting of the Ambassador with the Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister of Pakistan

December 20, 2025 — Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda, called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar, in Islamabad today.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that Pakistan is keen to further strengthen comprehensive bilateral relations with Tajikistan and looks forward to holding a number of high-level meetings and engagements with the Tajik side in the coming year. He also emphasized the need to expand close cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries and underlined the importance of increasing the volume of bilateral trade between Tajikistan and Pakistan.

In turn, the Ambassador reaffirmed that the Republic of Tajikistan remains firmly committed to the further strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation.
