Participation in the International Tourism Exhibition — Pakistan Travel Mart

From April 3 to 5, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan participated in the international tourism exhibition — Pakistan Travel Mart, held in the city of Karachi.

Within the framework of the event, the Ambassador held several meetings with representatives of government authorities, the business community, as well as leading companies in the tourism sector.

During these meetings, issues related to strengthening cooperation in tourism, attracting investment, developing tourism infrastructure, and expanding direct business ties were discussed.

The Ambassador also presented the tourism potential of the Republic of Tajikistan, providing participants with detailed information on its rich natural resources, cultural and historical heritage, and opportunities for the development of mountain, eco, and cultural tourism. Special attention was given to enhancing cooperation between tourism companies of the two countries and organizing joint travel initiatives.

During the event, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in the tourism sector and to increase tourist flows between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The participation of the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan in such international events is considered an important factor in promoting the country’s tourism potential and strengthening economic ties.
