On April 6, 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Naeem Sabir Khan, the National Coordinator of Pakistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues of bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the SCO. Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the political, economic, and security spheres.
The parties also emphasized the importance of further coordinating positions, implementing joint initiatives, and effectively utilizing existing opportunities within the Organization.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the SCO.
