Visit to HUM News Television Network

On 18 June 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr.Yusuf Sharifzoda, visited the headquarters of HUM News in Islamabad to familiarize himself with the activities of the television network.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with the management and editorial team of the network and exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Tajikistan–Pakistan relations, as well as existing opportunities for strengthening information and media cooperation between the two countries.

The Ambassador also gave an interview to HUM News, providing detailed information on the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan in various areas of socio-economic development, the country’s foreign policy, investment opportunities, hydropower potential, tourism development, and Tajikistan’s international initiatives in the fields of water resources and glacier preservation.

The parties emphasized the important role of the media in fostering mutual understanding between peoples and in promoting the opportunities and potential of Tajikistan and Pakistan to the public in both countries. They also expressed their readiness to further expand bilateral information and media cooperation.
