Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan with the High Commissioner of the Republic of Kenya

On 23 June 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda, and the High Commissioner of the Republic of Kenya to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Peter Mbogo Njiru.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Kenya and exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

They also discussed the expansion of political, economic, trade, and cultural ties, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the relevant institutions of the two countries.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue dialogue and further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kenya.
