Meeting with the Chairman of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce

On April 4, 2023 the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Istanbul Zohir Saidzoda met with the Chairman of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Şekib Avdagiç.

During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of development of bilateral cooperation in economic, trade and investment spheres. Parties exchanged views on ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination of joint sectoral activities between the business circles of Tajikistan and Turkey.

The parties noted the importance of the participation of Turkish investors in the implementation of investment projects in Tajikistan and increasing the volume of trade between the two countries.

Zohir Mirzozoda expressed condolences to the Turkish side in connection with the death and injury of a large number of people as a result of a strong earthquake in the southeastern regions of Turkey.
