Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan

On September 8, 2019 in Istanbul on the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Istanbul was celebrated the Day of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the launch of the second unit of “Rogun” hydroelectric power station.

The event was attended by Tajik citizens living in Istanbul, from  surrounding areas, local citizens and leaders of some businesses.

Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Istanbul Mizrobiddin Safarov spoke at the opening ceremony of the achievements of the country's independence under the wise and peaceful policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the importance of Rogun.

In conclusion, the Consul General congratulated the participants on the occasion of the Independence Day of our country and the launch of the second unit of the Roghun HPS.
