Participation of Tajik companies in International Exhibition "Istanbul Yarn Fair-2020"

February 27-29, 2020, Istanbul will host the International Yarn Fair. This is ninth time that Tajik companies participating this time  five domestic spinning factories - "Vahdat", "Kurgantepa Resandir", "Spitamen Textiles", "Fayzi Istiklol" and "HIMA Textile" represent Tajik cotton yarn to a wide range of international buyers.

The Istanbul yarn fair hosts more than 8,000 visitors from around 80 countries and brings together industry leaders who identify the international market. Known as the "heart of the textile industry in Eurasia", they display cotton, thread, textile and sewing equipment and textile products. Tajik companies' participation in the Istanbul fair is a good opportunity to present their products on the international scene, especially to potential buyers from Turkey and other countries.

Tajik exhibitors are confident that participation in this fair will open up new opportunities for them.

Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodiqjon Rustami says that “Istanbul International Exhibition will allow Tajik spinning companies to meet with leading textile manufacturers from the region, strengthen their brand in the regional market, work with manufacturing, import and export companies. traders can build links, learn about market demands and expectations, and discover new products and innovations.

 The visit to Istanbul is organized within the framework of the Global Textile and Apparel (GTEX) Program of the International Trade Center and is funded by the Government of Switzerland. This initiative is being implemented in close cooperation with the project "Promoting Integrated Rural Development and Economic Stability". The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan will be led by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic and local consulting firms of the International Trade Center - ACT Development Group and Business Consulting Group.

Participation in international exhibitions provides a good opportunity for partner companies to become more competitive by finding new business contacts and information on state-of-the-art equipment and global markets.
