Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova

On April 11, 2023, in Chisinau, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Moldova with residence in Kyiv, Davlatali Nazrizoda, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Sergiu Gerciu.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and considered it necessary to strengthen and develop cooperation in various fields, primarily in the agro-industrial, trade and economic spheres. The Ambassador considered it important to exchange experience between specialists in the field of agriculture, especially horticulture and viticulture.

The interlocutors expressed interest in expanding bilateral ties and noted that a wider range of issues of cooperation between the two countries, including in the agro-industrial sector, should be discussed during the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Moldova on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, which is expected to take place in the coming days.
