Celebrating the Independence Day of Tajikistan in Kyiv

On September 9, 2023, a festive meeting was held in Kyiv dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was attended by representatives of the Tajik diaspora, Ukrainian guests, and employees of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Ukraine.

In his speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda presented information about the country’s achievements over the years of independence, the successful implementation of the domestic and foreign policies of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, and congratulated those gathered on the Independence Day of the Republic.

The Ambassador presented letters of gratitude from the Embassy to active representatives of the Tajik diaspora in Ukraine and a memorable gift to Tajik entrepreneur Orif Odinaev on the occasion of the opening of the Rohat teahouse, of which he is the owner and where the events took place.

Representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Denis Maslov, head of the parliamentary group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Tajikistan, and Sergei Nagornyak spoke at this event, noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Tajikistan, and congratulated those gathered on the celebration of the independence of Tajikistan.
