Ambassador of Tajikistan visited Sadriddin Aini's corner at the Anatoliy Dimarov Library in Kiev

On 7 February 2024, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda visited the Family Reading Library named after Anatoly Dimarov in Kyiv.

During the visit the Ambassador met with the Director of the Library Svetlana Batyuk and the parties expressed their views on the current state of humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine, paying special attention to the life and works of the founder of modern Tajik literature, Hero of the Republic of Tajikistan Sadriddin Aini.

A special corner has been created in the Library dedicated to the life and work of Sadriddin Aini, where most of his works in different languages are collected, the corner is decorated with a bust of S. Aini and a handmade carpet with his photo.

During the visit, D. Nazrizoda and S. Batyuk agreed that the Embassy of Tajikistan in Ukraine will provide comprehensive support in providing Sadriddin Aina’s corner with books and additional necessary materials, as well as hold joint cultural events.
