Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Mykola Ilnytskyi

On June 15, 2024, Davlatali Nazrizoda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine, as part of a working visit to the Lviv region, met with Mykola Mykolayovych Ilnytsky - doctor of philological sciences, professor, full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Mykola Ilnytsky translated from the original language into Ukrainian the works of famous Tajik poets, including the story "Shokhnoma" by Abulkasim Firdavsi, the story from "Masnavi Maani" by Jalaliddin Balkhi, "Bustan" and "Guliston" by Saadi Shirozi.

During the conversation, the parties expressed their opinion about the popularity of the works of Tajik and Persian writers in Ukraine and expressed their interest in translating and publishing the works of Tajik poets and writers in the Ukrainian language.
