Visit of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Odessa International Humanitarian University

On April 1, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda visited the International Humanitarian University during his working visit to Odessa.

Under the leadership of the President of the University, Academician Sergey Kivalov and Rector Konstantin Gromovenko, the Ambassador of Tajikistan got acquainted with the modern infrastructure of the university, educational opportunities and scientific achievements of this educational institution.

The Tajik diplomat visited modern faculties and classrooms, the meeting room of the Academic Council, structural divisions of the university and its dental clinics, which are equipped with modern medical equipment, as well as a modern language lab for in-depth study of foreign languages, the faculty of restaurant management, which trains highly qualified specialists in the field of tourism and hospitality.

The language skills of Ukrainian students were demonstrated in the hall of the modern linguistic laboratory of the university. For example, they directly translated the speech of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, at one of the sessions of the UN General Assembly into several foreign languages at the same time.

At a meeting with the Rector of the Odessa International Humanitarian University Konstantin Gromovenko, which was also attended by the First Vice-Rector of the University Vasily Lefterov, Head of the Scientific Department Larisa Raicheva and Director of the International Educational Center Alborz Pahlavonzoda, issues of international scientific and educational cooperation and the possibility of academic exchange with universities of the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation with diplomatic missions and leading educational institutions of the world is an important area of activity of the International Humanitarian University.

In this regard, the leadership of the International Humanitarian University expressed its readiness to promote the development of international cooperation in the field of science and education, primarily in the training of highly qualified specialists for the Republic of Tajikistan.
