Meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan with Tajik women living in Kyiv

On April 7, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda met with a group of Tajik women living in Kyiv.

During the meeting, the Ambassador stated that the Government of Tajikistan and state bodies, in order to implement the wise policy of the Founder of peace and national unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, pay special attention to issues related to women and take the necessary measures to improve their position in society.

The Ambassador noted that the implementation of social policy through the use of the potential of women in the formation and development of the state, the protection of the values of national culture and the institution of statehood is one of the most important directions of our state policy.

He noted that women play a greater role in the upbringing of the younger generation. The first teacher of each person is his mother, and that now it is necessary to direct the younger generation — both girls and boys — to receive a good education and develop a modern profession.

The Tajik diplomat also drew attention to the rules of the interlocutors' stay in the country of residence and asked the participants to explain these nuances to young people so that they do not create problems for themselves and their families.

The Ambassador thanked those who take an active part in the Embassy's events, and noted that the development of national culture and nationality in the host country provides ample opportunities for strengthening friendship and cooperation, expanding the circle of friends.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Tajikistan answered the questions of those present and expressed his opinion on ways to eliminate the problem of Tajik women abroad, especially during the period of labor migration.
