On April 11, 2025, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrezoda and the Rector of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine Vadim Tkachuk, which was also attended by the President of the University Stanislav Nikolaenko and the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Activities Oleksandr Labenko.
The meeting, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, discussed issues of international scientific and educational cooperation, as well as the possibilities of academic exchange.
The parties discussed current issues of cooperation in various areas of mutual interest and expressed their readiness to further expand bilateral cooperation, as well as support for initiatives that contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
It should be noted that the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine is one of the leading educational, scientific and cultural institutions of Ukraine.
This educational institution with a long history studies sciences related to terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, the introduction of the latest ecological agricultural technologies and biotechnologies, technologies for restoring soil fertility and safety, energy-saving agricultural technologies, environmental and legal management in rural areas, production and its processing, as well as environmental protection.
Rector of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine Vadim Tkachuk in a conversation with a high-ranking Tajik diplomat said that they are ready to promote the development and expansion of international cooperation in the field of science and education and the training of highly qualified specialists for the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan also got acquainted with the modern infrastructure of the university, the capabilities and scientific achievements of this educational institution, visited the institutes of the university and its faculties, halls for meetings and events, the botanical garden of the university.
